I did this for two reasons. One: I was really tired of entering the IHeartFaces contests when the picture display on my blog was half the size of the pictures displayed on "photography blogs." And two: I finally got my biggest greatest wish ever. My daddy bought me a new Canon DSLR that will be here Wednesday for me to play around with. And that was the straw the broke the camels back and made me break down and figure out how to fudge my margins to get bigger pictures.
It also made me take the plunge and finally switch from the old post builder to the new one - because I can make the pictures bigger.
Soooooo, because I'm impatiently awaiting the arrival of my new
Also, I added an 'About Me' page to my blog. But even though it's up there and you click on it and read some words, I'm still working on getting it to say exactly what I want it to say. Rest assured though that it will never be fixed perfectly and I will probably always change it around every so often.
In addition to that amazing news of the arrival of my DSLR, the situation with TheOther has taken a few steps forward. Without getting into too much detail, the HigherUps in the Housing Office were finally at long last spoken to, the Police came and took some statements, and my boys have moved to a temporary suite in a different wing until something is decided about the placement of TheOther. And that decision should be made either today or tomorrow. Upon eviction of TheOther, he'll have three days to move out of the dorms (should the decision take that turn (and it's likely to)), and then my boys can move back down the hall from me.
But that's all I'm saying for now. This weekend was busy and stressful and I'm just thanking Jesus right now that it's over.
I totally understand your desire to call your new DSLR your baby -- I felt the exactly same way when I got mine. Unfortunately it hasn't been out of the case much because there has been no good natural light here in Texas recently. How lame is that?!
ReplyDeleteMore reason a Big Bang Theory marathon should occur this weekend. :)
