Digitally Enhanced For Your Viewing Pleasure

I saw over at IHeartFaces they had a calendar template. There were variations and I was super intrigued. Until I saw that the template wasn't free. It was disappointing, until I realized that I'm savvy enough with my Adobe Photoshop 4.0 Program and I could probably make my own calendar.

Let the experimentation begin!

After an hour or so, this is what I had come up with:

It's just one month, and I wanted to do more, but then I got interested in trying to do the entire year on one page. I'm still working it, so for now you just get Kiss-Me-It's-February. But I think it's ridiculously adorable.

I was toying with the idea of creating actual calendars for crafty gifts or something like that, but I don't know for sure. It would be fun to attempt though, I think. We'll see how it goes. 

And then I decided that I was tired of my background on my computer. So I made a new one.

It's composed of my favorites of the pictures I've taken so far on my Canon Rebel XS because I'm seriously in love with this camera. Besides that, I love making collages. With pictures though - not necessarily with magazine cut outs. But I'll have to make one of those for my Design Processing II class. 

I seriously am not excited about that class. The main good point about DP II is that TheProf is my instructor and since he knows me, that makes it a bit easier. But tomorrow after class I have to go out and buy paints and paint brushes so we can make color wheels on Wednesday. 

But for those of you who are on the curious end of the spectrum for how things turned out with TheOther officially, well he was given until Sunday to get his crap and get out. So he's gone now, and he's not allowed to have contact with LadiesMan, Prince Charming or me. It's a huge relief, to say the least. So thanks to all who were praying for the situation to right itself, because it's turning out to be okay. :)
