No wonder he was so willing to marry an outsider like Ruth. He didn't look down on her for being a Moabitess, or for being poor. He had compassion on her immediately and set forth a plan to care for her and Naomi. She acted on her faith by following Naomi and doing as she asked. Boaz acted on his faith by marrying Ruth.
